2018 Combine Tracker: Saquon Barkley in Blue?

Shortly after the running backs completed their on-field workouts for the 2018 NFL Combine, the New York Post was quick to claim former Penn State running back, Saquon Barkley, as "Superquon"

His performance in all categories was A+ and he's expected to be amongst the first prospects picked in next month's draft.  With the New York Giants holding the 2nd overall pick this year, it's hard to believe they will pass on this talent.

Saquon Barley is a Bronx native so if he does end up in Big Blue, he will have to stay disciplined in his hometown.

Travis Rudolph is Sticking Around

Instagram @travis_rudolph15

One of the most notable players at Giants camp who fought to try to make the 53-man roster this year was WR Travis Rudolph.  Rudolph signed with the Giants as an undrafted free agent following the 2017 NFL Draft.  A fan favorite in camp this year, Rudolph had 9 receptions with a team high of 157 years this preseason.

A play that caught our attention was a nice spin and catch that turned into a 57 yard gain during week 3 of the preseason against the Jets.  Rudolph racked up a high of 81 yards on just 3 catches in that game.

To hear Rudolph was waived on Saturday was a bit of a surprise to some but, sources say he has signed to the Giants 10-man practice squad.  The practice squad can be a gateway to make the 53-man roster so we hope this young fella just keeps on grinding.

The Giants 10-man practice squad:

OL Adam Bisnowaty
WR Travis Rudolph
CB Donte Deayon
DL Jordan Williams
OL Jon Halapio
S Ryan Murphy
LB Curtis Grant
WR Marquis Bundy
CB Tim Scott

LB Nordly Capi
