One of the most notable players at Giants camp who fought to try to make the 53-man roster this year was WR Travis Rudolph. Rudolph signed with the Giants as an undrafted free agent following the 2017 NFL Draft. A fan favorite in camp this year, Rudolph had 9 receptions with a team high of 157 years this preseason.
A play that caught our attention was a nice spin and catch that turned into a 57 yard gain during week 3 of the preseason against the Jets. Rudolph racked up a high of 81 yards on just 3 catches in that game.
To hear Rudolph was waived on Saturday was a bit of a surprise to some but, sources say he has signed to the Giants 10-man practice squad. The practice squad can be a gateway to make the 53-man roster so we hope this young fella just keeps on grinding.
The Giants 10-man practice squad:
OL Adam Bisnowaty
WR Travis Rudolph
CB Donte Deayon
DL Jordan Williams
OL Jon Halapio
S Ryan Murphy
LB Curtis Grant
WR Marquis Bundy
CB Tim Scott
LB Nordly Capi
